Pair of Baumann Chairs model " Sledge / Traineau ".

Magnificent pair of chairs edited by the famous Baumann manufacture at the end of the 60s. They are called " Luge ou Traineau " because of the original shape of their frame. These icons of French design are inspired by the Scandinavian style thanks to their elegant, sober and pure lines.

The shade of the wood, walnut colour, gives them elegance and offers a beautiful contrast with the light colour of the fabric.
The seats of the chairs have been restored (upholstery and fabric). The seats have been upholstered with faux fur fabric.

The chairs show some traces / marks of time and use on the frame but the chairs retain all their solidity and charm despite the 5 decades they have been in use.
