ARTICLE 1 - PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

When you make a purchase on the MARCETTE store site, as part of our buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you provide to us, such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse the MARCETTE store site, we also automatically receive your computer's Internet Protocol address (IP address), which allows us to get more details about the browser and operating system you're using.

Email Marketing: With your permission, MARCETTE can send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

ARTICLE 4 - SHOPIFY

The MARCETTE store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell you our services and products.

Your data is stored in Shopify's data storage system and databases, and in shopify's general application. Your data is stored on a secure server protected by a firewall.

Payment:

If you make your purchase through a direct payment gateway, in this case Shopify will store your credit card information. This information is encrypted in accordance with the data security standard established by the payment card industry (PCI-DSS standard). Your purchase transaction information is kept for as long as it takes to finalize your order. Once your order is finalized, the purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways meet the PCI-DSS standard, managed by the PCI Security Standards Board, which is the result of the joint effort of companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

The requirements of the PCI-DSS standard ensure that our store and its service providers process credit card data securely.

 

ARTICLE 5 - SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES

In general, the third-party providers we use will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to be able to perform the services they provide to us.

However, some third-party service providers, such asPayment processors and other payment transaction processors have their own privacy policies regarding the information we are required to provide for your purchase transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you carefully read their privacy policies so that you can understand how they will handle your personal information.

It should not be forgotten that some suppliers may be located or have facilities located in a jurisdiction different from yours or ours. ARTICLE 6 - SAFETY

If you provide us with your credit card information, it will be encrypted through the use of the SSL security protocol and stored with AES-256 encryption. While no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% safe, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional standards generally recognized by the industry.

COOKIE FILES

Here is a list of control files that we use. We have listed them here so you can choose whether you want to allow them or not.

_session_id, a unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store information about your session (referee, referral page, etc.).

_shopify_visit, no data withheld, has persisted for 30 minutes since the last visit. Used by our website provider's internal statistics tracking system to record the number of visits.

_shopify_uniq, no data withheld, expires at midnight (depending on the location of the visitor) the following day. Calculates the number of visits to a shop per single customer.

cart, unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores information about your shopping cart.

_secure_session_id, unique session identifier

storefront_digest, a unique identifier, indefinite if the shop has a password, it is used to find out if the current visitor has access.

By using this site, you declare that you are at least the age of majority (18 years), and that you have given us your consent to allow any peopleyou are responsible for using this website.
