Magnificent pair of Venini wall sconces, made in Italy around the 1970s, in the famous "Triedi" cut Murano glass.
These sconces feature a spectacular composition of cut transparent glass blades and elements, with triangular shapes, mounted on a gilded metal frame. The tiered arrangement gives the piece a particularly sculptural, almost architectural appearance.
The cut glass catches and reflects light with great subtlety. Once lit, the sconces provide warm and shimmering lighting, while casting magnificent plays of light and shadow on the wall. When off, they remain true decorative objects thanks to the richness of their composition and the transparency of the glass.
A creation representative of 1970s Italian design, where glasswork truly becomes an element of interior architecture. The combination of transparent glass and gilded metal gives them a presence that is at once luxurious, graphic, and timeless.
This pair will be particularly elegant in an interior with period moldings, but could also find its place in a contemporary, modernist, or eclectic decor.
